- A Soft Brake Pedal- Does your brake pedal squish when you step down on it? While it may not seem like a cause for concern, it actually is. As a general rule of thumb, your brake pedal should feel firm under pressure. Thus, a soft-feeling pedal needs to be checked out.
- Shaking Stops- When you bring your vehicle to a stop, do you notice any vibration or shaking? If so, you may need to bring it in, as this could be a sign of warped rotors.
- Odd Smells- Smell something burning? It could be a variety of things. Either way, you'll want to get it checked out, as brakes can cause burning smells, too.
- Brake Light- Got a vehicle that comes with a brake light warning? Sweet. If this light comes on, you'll know it's time for a visit to your local mechanic.
